Entre a bola e a fábrica: reflexos da industrialização paulistana no clube de fábrica Santa Marina

Esse artigo tem como objetivo discutir o início da pesquisa em torno dos conflitos e das disputas sociais envolvendo a profissionalização do jogador de futebol presentes na construção do time amador de fábrica Santa Marina Football Club. Seu recorte temporal se inicia em 1913, ano de sua fundação, até 1933, ano da profissionalização do jogador de futebol. Com o estudo sobre o contexto histórico de industrialização e modernização da cidade de São Paulo, foi possível o levantamento de algumas hipóteses acerca das características do time. Será realizada também uma discussão sobre História Oral por ela ser o principal guia para o tratamento das fontes e por se entender que ela possui as ferramentas metodológicas necessárias para se trabalhar com as narrativas passadas de geração em geração em torno das identidades do clube. Ainda serão analisadas atas de reuniões por poderem evidenciar detalhes não percebidos nos relatos orais.

This article aims to discuss the beginning of the research about the social conflicts and disputes about the profissionalization of the soccer player in question during the organization of the amateur factory-based Santa Marina Football Club. Its temporal cut begins in 1913, year of its foundation, up until 1933, when the professionalism of the soccer player was regulated. The studies about the historical context of São Paulo’s industrialization and modernization processes enabled the formulation of some hypotheses about the aspects of the club. A discussion about Oral History will be also proposed, in order to show that this discipline is the principal guide for the treatment with sources and that it has the needed methodologic tools to work with the passed down from generation to generation narratives about the identities of the club. Minutes will be also analyzed to highlight some details that were not evident in the oral sources.
